Sometimes the best renovations aren’t about knocking down walls. This bedroom makeover in Toronto, Canada showed me that small changes can completely transform a space.
The room itself was decent size, but it felt cramped. Dark paint, heavy furniture, and clutter made it look smaller than it really was.

The first step was paint. Switching to a lighter, neutral color instantly opened up the room. Next, furniture was rearranged to maximize walking space and natural light.
Even little details, like changing the curtains and adding mirrors, had a surprisingly big impact.

Once the makeover was complete, the bedroom felt brighter, bigger, and more inviting. The total cost stayed around $2,900, mainly because nothing structural was changed.
