This was a small outdoor update on a Tucson, Arizona patio. Nothing fancy—just trying to make the space usable again without spending much.
Before photo – worn patio floor.
The concrete had stains and hairline cracks. Full replacement wasn’t an option, so we cleaned it, patched the cracks, and used a basic concrete coating.
During work – patching and coating.
It didn’t turn out perfect. You can still notice texture differences if you look closely, but it made the patio usable and much cleaner.
After photo – finished patio area.
For a budget fix, it held up better than expected. Sometimes improvement is enough you don’t always need a full rebuild.
Takeaway
Not every renovation has to be high-end to be worth doing.
