Before the renovation
When Sarah and Daniel bought their first home, the living room felt gloomy. Thick curtains blocked the sun, the beige walls looked tired, and the space had no warmth.
The Process
They tore down a small wall to open things up, swapped old carpet for light oak floors, and painted the walls white. Sheer blinds replaced the heavy curtains, letting in plenty of light. The only setback came when they found water damage under the carpet, which cost more time and money to fix.
The aftermath
Now the room is bright and welcoming. Sunlight fills the space, plants thrive, and it’s become the couple’s favorite spot to relax and host friends. Sarah says, “It finally feels like our home.”
Takeaway
A renovation isn’t just about looks, it can change how a space feels and how you use it every day.
