Hammer tools for Renovation

The Timeless Renovation Tool

A hammer is one of the oldest and most useful tools in home renovation. It is designed with a heavy head attached to a handle, usually made of wood, metal, or fiberglass.

The flat side of the head is used for driving nails into wood or other materials, while the curved side, often called the claw, is perfect for pulling nails back out.

Using a hammer is simple but requires control. Hold it firmly at the end of the handle for better leverage, line up the nail, and strike it with steady swings instead of forceful hits. This reduces the chance of bending nails or damaging the surface.

When removing a nail, slide the claw under the head of the nail and use the handle as a lever to pull it free. With practice, the hammer becomes an extension of your hand, making countless tasks easier.
