Holiday Decor Idea: How I Created My Simple Front Door Easter Display

I really do love decorating for Easter. There is something so charming about all the painterly Easter eggs, spring flowers, bunnies and pastel hues. After months of grey skies, spring and Easter decor adds a real injection of lighthearted joy into the home and alongside Easter table settings and hanging decorative eggs on Easter trees. I also love to create an Easter display by my front door for neighbours and passers-by to look at.

While my Easter door arch was probably the largest Easter display that I have created, this year I still wanted the wow-factor, but it had to be easier to put together as I did not have a lot of spare time.

My starting point was the two green bunnies that I picked up at [Homesense. They were relatively inexpensive for their size (I paid £39 per bunny and they are 100cm tall). I knew they would work either side of the door and I wanted to surround them in spring blooms.

I purchased 8 basic terracotta pots from the garden centre and squashed in each one a decent amount of chicken wire. The wire would support the faux flowers that I planned to arrange in the pots and would stop them from blowing away in the wind. I also added a few spring bulbs in pots and dotted them around the display to inject more colour
