How are Canadian provinces adopting CSA B52:23 for A2Ls, and what details most often trip up permits (ventilation, leak detection, equipment rooms)?

Okay, so provinces are cool with A2L systems that follow CSA B52:23, as long as the ventilation, leak detection, room size, and labels are up to code. Just a heads up: these things are usually what slow down or tank your permit.
Most provinces are adopting CSA B52 2023 for A2L refrigerants with BC Alberta Ontario Manitoba and Saskatchewan already in force and others following in 2024–25.
Permits most often stall over charge-volume calculations, ventilation rates, leak-detector interlocks, deciding when a machinery room is needed, and required labeling/signage.
