The space under my staircase was wasted. I decided to turn it into a reading nook.
I built a small bench with storage drawers underneath. Cushions and pillows made it comfortable. A wall mounted light and a few shelves for books completed the nook.
It became one of the coziest corners in the house and a favorite spot to relax.
Final thought: Even awkward spaces can become useful with creativity. What would you do with an under stair area?
