When you’re putting up shelves, TV mounts, or cabinets, it’s not enough to just drill into the wall. You need solid support behind it, and that’s where a stud finder comes in. You run it along the wall and it tells you where the wooden studs or metal frames are. That way, whatever you’re installing is anchored properly and won’t come crashing down later. It’s a small tool, doesn’t cost much, but it makes a huge difference. If you’re serious about safe and lasting renovations, keep one of these in your toolbox.
