In 2025, the Kips Bay Decorator Show House hits its 50th birthday and is heading back to where it started: New York City. For the first time in years, it’s happening in Greenwich Village, at a cool six-story townhouse on 20 West 12th Street. Expect high ceilings, fireplaces, a garden, and even an old-school elevator.
Design Stars Show Off
This year, 21 top designers and studios are involved, with names like Alexa Hampton and Jamie Drake. They’re each putting their spin on a part of the house, showing off styles from classic British to modern looks.
Doing Good Through Design
Started in 1973, this event supports the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. It raises money for after-school programs for NYC kids. Over the past 50 years, the Show House has brought in over $30 million, so it’s both stylish and helpful.
