Knowing what you really want to renovate for

How do you decide if a renovation is about personal fulfillment or financial return on investment?

To me I feel like it depends on what the building is serving as if it is an hotel or a school then you know it return on investments but your home you know it personal

If your home makes you happy, that’s personal fulfillment. If it increases the home’s value, that’s an investment. Most home upgrades fall somewhere in between. A kitchen touch-up might be half and half, a fancy bathroom is mostly for you, and energy-efficient upgrades are mostly for return on investment.

Depends on your choice tho

The rate of the expenses and some other factors like, buying cheap materials

Its your choice

If you plan to place the house for sale then renovation should be about Financial ROI

But if you are keeping it for your own use then it should be about personal fulfillment

Renovations should either make you love your space or boost its value sometimes both.

Yes home is really personal no matter what the outcome maybe

Financial return of investment
