This bedroom refresh was done in a home in Columbus, Ohio. The room felt dull and unfinished, but a full renovation wasn’t necessary. The goal was to improve the space without spending much.
Before photo – plain and cluttered bedroom.
I started by rearranging the furniture and repainting one wall. I didn’t expect how much dust would come off the old wall, and I had to wipe everything down twice before painting.
During renovation – painting and furniture movement.
Adding new bedding and better lighting made the room feel more comfortable. One lamp shade didn’t fit the base properly, so it sits slightly crooked, but it works.
After photo – refreshed bedroom.
The final cost stayed under $200, and the room feels much better now. It’s not perfect, but it’s more relaxing to use every day.
Honest Thought
You don’t need a full remodel to feel a big change.
