Materials Left Over: Waste or Future Gold?

After renovation, leftover tiles, paint, cables, and fittings often get ignored or thrown away. That’s money in physical form. One broken tile years later becomes a headache if you don’t have extras.

Label and store:

leftover tiles (with batch/shade info)

paint (tightly sealed)

spare fittings and handles

extra electrical sockets and switches

Contractors sometimes take leftovers without asking. Decide early who owns unused materials. If you paid for it, it belongs to you.
