DIY Mini Bookshelf from Old Crates

Got some old wooden/plastic crates lying around? so why not turn them into a mini bookshelf? Sand the crates down so they don’t splinter. Then paint or stain them in a color that you want, maybe even mix colors for a rustic vibe. After they dry stack them however you like, side by side for a wide shelf, or vertically for more height. A couple of nails or brackets will keep them steady. Finally, load them up with books, plants, etc.

Cheap, easy, and it gives the room a fresh look.
