Holes in drywall used to intimidate me, but I found a simple method that works. For small holes, I use a mesh patch, spackle over it, then sand it smooth. For larger holes, I cut out a square, insert a new piece of drywall, and tape over the seams. It takes some practice, but once painted, you can’t even tell where the damage was. It’s one of those skills I wish I learned sooner because it makes walls look brand new.
