I had always admired modern kitchen backsplashes and finally decided to install one myself.
The process started with measuring and choosing peel and stick tiles to make it easier. I cleaned the wall surface, marked guidelines and slowly placed the tiles row by row. At first it was tricky to align them but after a few rows I got the hang of it.
The biggest challenge was cutting around outlets but a utility knife worked with patience. In just one afternoon my kitchen looked completely different.
The project cost under two hundred dollars and gave me the confidence to try more DIY projects in the future.
Final thought: Sometimes the best way to learn is by trying. Would you attempt a backsplash project on your own?
