My apartment’s bathroom was so small that it barely fit a sink, toilet, and shower. Every morning felt like a battle for space. I couldn’t expand the footprint, but I decided to renovate with one goal in mind: make the tiny bathroom feel bigger and more functional.
I began by removing the old, bulky vanity and replacing it with a floating sink. This small change created more floor space and made the room feel less cramped. I also swapped the old shower curtain for a clear glass enclosure, which instantly opened up the space visually.
Storage was a challenge. To solve it, I added recessed shelving in the shower and floating shelves above the toilet. These gave me room for essentials without crowding the space. Bright, reflective tiles on the walls and floor amplified the light, making the bathroom appear larger.
The finishing touches sleek fixtures, a large mirror, and strategically placed LED lights transformed the atmosphere from dingy to modern spa-like. Even though the bathroom was still tiny, it felt completely different.
The project wasn’t without stress. Working in a small space made installation tricky, and I had to be creative with every decision. But when I saw the finished room, I felt proud of turning constraints into inspiration.
Conclusion:
My tiny bathroom renovation reminded me that size doesn’t define comfort or style. With smart design choices, even the smallest rooms can be reimagined into functional and beautiful spaces.
