Opening Up the Living Room Without Losing Its Warmth

Before, the living room had heavy drapes, bulky furniture, and a layout that blocked the windows. The house always felt darker than it actually was.

We swapped dark curtains for simple shades, rearranged the furniture, and painted the walls a lighter color. No structural changes just thoughtful edits. Sunlight finally reached corners that had been gloomy for years.

The space feels bigger, even though the square footage never changed.

After: the room breathes. It’s the same house just finally able to show its personality.
