Replacing Broken tiles in the house

Here’s how to replace broken tiles in your house effectively:

Start by removing the grout around the broken tile using a grout saw or rotary tool. Be careful not to damage the surrounding tiles. Next, place masking tape over the tile surface to prevent shards from flying.
Use a hammer and chisel to break the tile into smaller pieces, then gently remove them.
-Scrape away any remaining adhesive using a putty knife or chisel until the surface is smooth and clean. Vacuum or wipe away dust and debris.

Apply a layer of tile adhesive or thin-set mortar to the back of the replacement tile or the floor using a notched trowel.
Press the new tile firmly into place, aligning it evenly with the surrounding tiles. Let it set for 24 hours. Once it’s dry, reapply grout around the edges using a rubber float. Wipe off excess grout with a damp sponge and let it cure for another 24 hours.
-Finally, polish the tile surface and seal the grout lines if necessary.
