During my inspection of the building, the roof showed clear signs of wear and deterioration. Some roofing sheets were loose, while others were cracked and slightly rusted. There were also visible gaps that could easily allow rainwater to enter the building. From the condition observed, it was obvious that the roof required renovation to prevent further damage to the interior spaces.
The inspection process involved checking the alignment of the roofing sheets, the condition of the timber supports, and the effectiveness of the drainage system. Weak or damaged sections were identified for replacement, and areas with poor fixing were noted. Attention was also given to how water flowed across the roof surface, as poor drainage can lead to leaks over time.
After renovation, the roof was properly aligned and securely fixed. Damaged materials were replaced, and drainage improved. The building was better protected from weather conditions, and the overall appearance of the roof was greatly improved.
