Architects at Splyce Design recently completed a stunning renovation of a 1960s house in Victoria, BC—now named the Shoreline House. The design reimagines the structure with an environmentally sensitive approach, featuring a light cedar–clad extension perched on thin steel columns. The extended footprint was carefully aligned with coastal zoning regulations and includes generous frameless windows and terraces that seamlessly blend the home with its rugged natural setting. The result is a h
armonious balance of modern architecture and eco-conscious renovation.
