This small update was done in a hallway in San Diego California
The space was narrow and always felt cold and unwelcoming
I did not want a full renovation so I focused only on the floor
Before the change the old tiles were cracked and uneven
They made the hallway feel smaller and harder to clean
During the work removing the old tiles took longer than expected
Some sections were stuck tighter than others so I had to slow down
After installing new flooring the hallway felt warmer and easier to walk through
The color also helped the space feel more open
The result was not a major transformation but it made daily movement through the house better
One small area near the door still needs attention but overall the change was worth it
