Small Condo Upgrade: From Cramped to Cleverly Designed

This condo had good bones but very little personality. The “before” looked like many starter homes: plain walls, old appliances, and heavy furniture that overwhelmed the limited square footage. Every room felt tight, and storage never seemed enough.

Renovation focused on maximizing every inch. Non-structural walls were removed to create an open layout connecting the kitchen and living area. Lighter paint colors and reflective finishes like glass and mirrors helped bounce light around, making the condo feel larger.

Space-saving furniture played a key role. A fold-out dining table, wall-mounted TV, and hidden storage under the sofa kept clutter out of sight. Built-in cabinetry replaced bulky wardrobes, adding sleek storage without taking up precious floor space.

The kitchen received compact but efficient appliances and quartz countertops that are durable yet stylish. A cohesive color palette throughout the condo made transitions seamless and visually calm.

After renovation, the condo feels thoughtful and spacious despite its size. Every area serves a purpose, and nothing feels wasted. A once-cramped home now proves that smart design can make small living both practical and beautiful.
