Small Lighting Change, Big Difference

This was a simple lighting upgrade done in a single-family home in Atlanta, Georgia. The room wasn’t bad, it just always felt a little dark, especially in the evenings.

The old fixture still worked, so replacing it felt unnecessary at first. But once it came down, we realized it was blocking a lot of light. The new fixture cost under $100 and was installed in less than an hour.

It’s not a perfect install the ceiling has a small paint mark that still needs touching up but the room feels brighter and more open now.

If a room feels off, check the lighting before doing anything expensive. It’s usually the easiest fix.
