Small Lighting Change That Helped

This job was in Atlanta, Georgia, and honestly, it started as a small complaint:
the room just felt dark all the time, even during the day.

Before photo – dim living room.

The space already had light fixtures, but they were outdated and didn’t spread light well. Instead of opening walls or adding windows, we swapped the fixtures and adjusted the bulb temperature.

Nothing complicated.

During update – fixture replacement.

The difference wasn’t dramatic in photos, but in real life, it felt better. The room looked warmer and more open. There’s still a corner that stays a bit dark, but that’s fine, it’s a living space, not a showroom.

After photo – brighter room.

:light_bulb: What I Learned

Sometimes lighting fixes mood more than paint or furniture.

It’s one of those upgrades people underestimate.
