The Day I Replaced Old Hardware

One afternoon I decided to swap cabinet handles “just to see.” That tiny test spiraled in a good way. Brushed-nickel pulls replaced the dated brass. New knobs freshened bedroom dressers. Even interior doors got modern handles.

Nothing structural changed, but the house suddenly looked updated like it had quietly aged backward.

Conclusion: Sometimes style lives in the smallest details. Hardware is an easy win with a big visual payoff.
