We didn’t install a patio. We didn’t redo the driveway. We simply added a short paver path from the back door to the shed.
Honestly, I didn’t expect it to matter much.
But suddenly trips to the shed weren’t messy. We stopped trampling grass. The yard began to feel like it had sections a place for gardening, a place for sitting, a place for storage.
The path even made the garden look intentional, not accidental.
It reminded me that not every project has to be dramatic. Sometimes a few well-laid stones can quietly pull a yard together without shouting for attention.
