U.S. Probes Tesla Over Delays in Crash Reporting

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has initiated an audit into Tesla regarding delayed filings of crash reports involving its advanced driver assistance systems. Regulations require such incidents to be reported within one to five days, but Tesla reportedly combined many reports into batches submitted much later an issue the company attributes to a data collection glitch, which they say has since been fixed.
