[UPDATE] The People Helping the People: 251 KM for Cancer

:man_running: 251 KM for Cancer - Samm Simon Training Update

Samm Simon - “the beginning runner” - is deep into his training block for the 251 kilometer charity run happening May 11 in support of three cancer charities that have been vital to his family’s fight.

This isn’t a scripted campaign.
This is raw effort.
This is discipline.
This is heart.

Right now, Samm’s weekly training looks like this:

• Monday - 1 hour medium run
• Tuesday - 1.5 hour run
• Wednesday - nearly 2 hours
• Thursday - sprint intervals (fast + slow fartlek training)
• Friday - recovery run
• Saturday - long steady run
• Sunday - 2 hour endurance run

On top of that:
• Speed skating twice a week for cross-training
• Light weight training
• Hot yoga with his daughter
• Treadmill miles stacking up daily

All while staying fueled on the road, powered by grit, and backed by people who believe in ending cancer.

“Champions are made when no one’s watching.”
“This is the people helping the people for the people.”
“I don’t really know what I’m doing - but I’ve got the team that’s going to smash this dream.”

There are no TV crews.
No media spotlight.
No shortcuts.

Just a man training every day for a cause that matters.
