What I Learned About Choosing Flooring When I renovated my living room, I thought

laminate would be the cheapest and easiest option. It did save money, but I didn’t realize how important underlayment was. I skipped buying the better underlayment and ended up with a hollow sound every time I walked across the room. Later I replaced part of it with better padding, and the difference was huge. Lesson learned: don’t skimp on the parts you can’t see, because they make a big difference in how the finished project feels
