Getting your building materials tested is something that’s usually needed before you mess with any old stuff in older buildings, especially if you’re getting permits. Even if you don’t have to, it’s a good idea if you’re cutting, sanding, or taking apart old paint or flooring. Finding out about surprise gross stuff mid-project costs a lot more than just testing it beforehand!
